Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. To ensure the lake a safe environment

3. Following the emergency action plan in accordance with policies and procedures

4. To perform lifeguarding duties in accordance with our standards

5. Able to work independently and as part of a team and maintain effectively

6. To work as part of a team, setting up & packing up

7. To maintain a flexible attitude and to be prepared to move between roles

8. Able to work within reception area.

Qualifications and Experience required:

No qualifications or experience is needed.

We will require you to perform task standing on a paddle board

Essential for this role:

1. Previous customer service experience

2. First Aid certificate - this can be provided

3. Previous experience in a Watersports role is desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. Ability to react calmly, quickly and effectively in emergencies

2. Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques

3. Knowledge of emergency First Aid procedures

4. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

5. Ability to effectively communicate with customers of all ages, and other staff

6. Able to work using own initiative

7. The ability to confidently hold a conversation in English

Personal Qualities:

5. Clean and tidy appearance

6. High Attention to detail

7. Must be over 16 years of age

2-6 session per week, depending on time of season
